Liam, an extremely talented player who grew up in Qualicum Beach, presents his graduate recital for his Clarinet Performance degree from the University of Victoria School of Music. The programme will include works by Brahms, Debussy, Poulenc, and Rózsa.

In addition to being a highly esteemed concert pianist throughout the world, Mr. Vogt has an extensive reputation as a leading interpreter of and authority on Liszt’s music. What better way to continue our celebration of the Liszt bicentenary?

We will schedule this astounding young virtuoso from Vancouver (now residing in Germany) every year if possible, and this winter we are again fortunate.
Follow Avan’s development as he rapidly rises to the stratosphere of international piano stars. Today’s programme will include works by Haydn, Beethoven and Liszt.

This superb duo from Utah presents “classical” music with a jazz influence, and today’s programme will include David Baker’s Clarinet Sonata, Claude Bolling’s Suite (for Clarinet) as well as some elegant original compositions by Mr. Hinckley.
