Right Hand Turn

Hill creates stained glass-esque paintings that remind us of the most peaceful scenes we’ve ever sat with, a combination of precise, dreamy, with superb technique. These watercolour, oil and acrylic works are an instant balm to the soul.

We look forward to examining the large breadth and depth of this delightful painter in this online exhibition: "Right Hand Turn"

In addition to Hill's highly technical watercolours (mosaic-esque work which take him anywhere from 60 to 100 hours to finish), the exhibition will also include works in oil and acrylics. Featured pieces include one of Hill’s first works in oil — executed with a pallet knife some 62 years ago. Also appearing in the show is his next painting, a watercolour created some 42-year years later, signalling Hill’s re-emergence as an active artist.

He has also included a few acrylic abstract paintings that he has turned right with.

Hill is a longstanding member of TOSH and is beloved in this community for his dynamic teaching, his engaging service to others, and his irrefutable positive attitude.
