She sets the curatorial direction alongside the operational one, shaping what goes on the walls and into the programming with the same attention she gives to keeping the doors open. That has meant programming built on the belief that the arts belong to everyone, work on the connection between art and community health, and pilot projects testing what the art market can actually look like on Vancouver Island. She is drawn to the question of how digital tools can make the work of making art less difficult, both for artists and for everyone whose job is to support them.

She has worked in arts and culture internationally for over 20 years, including 12 years running programs in the New York contemporary art market before Qualicum Beach. Since arriving on the Island she has worked to break down the silos between organizations and to address the structural inequities in how the region's arts get funded and seen.

She was a founding member of the Digital Innovation Group, has co-chaired Creative Coast, and has served on the LGBTQ+ advisory at the BCMA. She holds a BA in Anthropology from UBC and an MA in Visual Art Administration from NYU. Alongside her work at TOSH she coaches artists, appraises work, advises arts businesses, and takes part in a range of projects across the region and beyond.
